Not Done Yet

It’s hard for me when I think about the things that never been
They keep coming back again like they’ve got something to prove
I love my memories
But they have a way of controlling me at times
And I’m so lost without you, yea, yea, yea
And I can’t get far from it
And from what went wrong
And I know it’s stupid
Cause it’s been so long
The farther I get away
The more I hold on
It’s just this feeling I get
It’s like I’m not done yet

I’m not done yet
I am not done yet
I’m not done yet

I think about those times
When we were young
And everything was so
Brand new and our words so true and you
Looked into my eyes the one last time
If I had known back then
Would I be living with today
We might have stayed, but
I can’t get far from it
And from what went wrong
And I know it’s stupid
Cause it’s been so long
The further I get away
The more I hold on
It’s like I try to forget
Somehow I’m not done yet

I’m not done yet
I am not done yet
I’m not done yet

It’s hard for me when I
Think about the things that never been
They keep coming back again
Like they've got something to prove

It’s like I’m not done yet
I’m not done yet
I am not done yet
I’m not done yet
I’m not done yet no [x3]
I’m not done yet
I am not done yet no
I’m not done yet no [x3]
I am not done yet…

"Be With Me Now"

In two months, I'm through the door way
Put my guitar on the floor
And you will sit and tell me
That you can't take anymore
And you will sit and wonder
What I can only speculate
That time is gonna be telling us
What we don't want it to say

So just be with me now
Feel your hair wrap around my finger
Feel your words turn into whispers
Feel you fall asleep and dream
Dream that you could be with me now
As I keep track on my finger
Of the cities and the strangers
Of the pieces of my dreams

It's been so long since I've seen you
Almost forgot your face
And time meant to brings people closer
But it does the opposite for me
So I forgot my hallways and my hotels
And a ticket with my name
It's been too long since I've seen you, you
And there's so much to say

But just be with me now
Feel your hair wrap around my finger
Feel your words turn into whispers
Feel you fall asleep and dream
Dream that you could be with me now
As I keep track on my finger
Of the cities and the strangers
Of the pieces of my dream

That you can be with me now
Feel your words turn into whispers
Your hair wrap around my fingers
You fall asleep and dream
Dream that you could be with me now
As I keep track on my fingers
The cities and the strangers
Of the pieces of my dreams

"When We Were Younger"

I never really got why we're here
Just look at all we build in our lives and we all disappear
A few of us are born with so much
While most of us just chasing down a dream that we just can't touch
So why we try so hard in this place?
When pain and suffering is a guarantee and happiness is a phase
I wonder if one day we're at peace
Or will this whole world just become like the middle east?

[Chorus:]
But when I was younger, when I was younger
I had the answers, I've got to say
But all of my answers, now that I'm older
Turned into questions, in front of me

I wonder where we go when we die
If there is anything past our lost sun and our sky?
Cuz airports only take us so high
Is it hidden in the stars?
What's the answer to your soul lying?
I wonder do we get to come back
I wonder if I will remember these questions I've asked
Or will I just star over again?
I hope it's not too hard to find all of my old friends.

[Chorus x2:]
But when we were younger, when we were younger
I had the answers, I've got to say
But all of my answers, now that we're older
Turned into questions, in front of me

I wonder if we get one true love
Or maybe there's a few out there
Or maybe not even one
I wonder if it's made up by man
I wonder if love is what we make with our own two hands
I wonder why I write all these songs
I wonder if you know what you're saying when you sing along
And will you know my name when I'm gone?
Or are you just too sick of these love songs?

[Chorus:]
But when we were younger, when we were younger
I had the answers, I've got to say
But all of my answers, now that I'm older
Turned into questions, in front of me

But when we were younger, when we were younger
I had the answers, I've got to say
But all of my answers, now that I'm older
Just turned into questions, right in front of me
Right in front of me, in front of me
Everything changes in front of me

"She Still Loves Me (Acoustic 2010)"

I know it's hard now for you to see
You can't change how it was
Or how it's gonna be
I'm what she wants
You're just what she needs
And if she still loves me
She still loves me

Where is her sweater?
It's not in her car
It's not at her friend's house
It's not at the bar
I think you better,
Think with the heart
Take a look at yourself
And see how lucky you really are.

I don't believe in luck after all
Neither does she, but you know that now
You should forget her
Cause I've got her heart
She hates the way that I tear it apart

I know it's hard now for you to see
You can't change how it was
Or how it's gonna be
I'm what she wants
You're just what she needs
And if she still loves me
She still loves me

What did she do today?
What took her so long?
Where has she been to?
Where has she gone?

What does she think about?
She sees the dawn
When you feel her thinking
And rolling around

What does she talk about,
When her father calls?
She says what you said
She tells her old man that you're the one

What does she talk about,
When her mother calls?
You don't come up
You don't come up at all

What do we do when life takes us so long?
Why we waste so much time, I know ill never know
Why do we stay here? Why don't we go?
Why does everybody think that they can do both?

I know it's hard now for you to see
You can't change how it was
Or how it's gonna be
I'm what she wants
You're just what she needs
And if she still loves me
She still loves me

I know it's hard now for you to see
Cause you can't change a thing about how it's going to be
And I'm what she wants
And you're just what she needs
But she still loves me
She still loves me
She still loves me

Maroon 5

Maroon 5 is an American pop rock band that originated in Los Angeles, California. The group formed in 1994 as kara's flowers while some of them were still in high school.  The lead singer is Adam Levine. They sing many different songs and all of them are good, but my favorite is probably Sunday Morning. This song is the fourth single from the album Songs About Jane. It was released on December 2, 2004.

Yeah oh oh oh yeah
Sunday morning rain is falling
Steal some covers, share some skin
And clouds are shrouding us in moments unforgettable
You twist to fit the mold that I am in

But things just get so crazy, living life gets hard to do
And I would gladly hit the road, get up and go if I knew
That someday it would lead me back to you
That someday it would lead me back to you, oh

That may be all I need
In darkness she is all I see
Come and rest your bones with me
I'm driving slow on Sunday morning
And I never want to leave

My fingers trace your every outline, oh yeah yeah
Paint a picture with my hands, oh no, no
And back and forth we sway like branches in a storm
Change of weather, still together when it ends, oh

That may be all I need
In darkness she is all I see
Come and rest your bones with me
I'm driving slow on Sunday morning
And I never want to leave, yeah

Oh oh yeah
But things just get so crazy, living life gets hard to do
And Sunday morning rain is falling and I'm calling out to you
Singing someday it will bring me back to you, yeah
Find a way to bring myself back home to you
And you may not know

That may be all, all I, all I need
Oh, in darkness she is all, all I, I see
And now come and rest your bones with me, yeah
Driving slow, driving slow
Now yeah yeah yeah, oh yeah yeah yeah
Oh yeah yeah yeah, oh yeah yeah yeah
Oh yeah yeah yeah, oh yeah yeah

There's a flower in your hair
And I'm a flower in your hair, oh oh

Oh yeah yeah, oh yeah yeah
Oh yeah yeah

Sunday morning rain
On Sunday morning, yeah yeah
On Sunday morning, oh oh oh oh
I'll be home, I'll be

One my favorite song that she sings on the album is Do It. This song was It was produced by Timbaland and Nate "Danja" Hills. it features a prominent influence of 1980's dance pop music and sexually suggested lyrics.

You're standing at the door, I'm falling to the floor
You look even better than you did before
I'm staring at my feet, wondering if I can do this
It's been a while but I couldn't forget you

Just a little look has got me feeling things
Just a little touch has got me seeing things
Just a little taste has got me off the chains
Doing things that I don't want to

Do it like you do it to me
(I'm burning up)
Do it like you do it to me
(It's not enough)

Do it like you do it to me
(Just open up)
Don't you know how much I want you

We're sitting real close and I can feel your breath
I wanna touch your hand but I lay back
'Cuz you know this thing could spiral in the night
I've changed my mind, I'm ready for you this time

Just a little look has got me feeling things
Just a little touch has got me seeing things
Just a little taste has got me off the chains
Doing things that I don't want to

Do it like you do it to me
(I'm burning up)
Do it like you do it to me
(It's not enough)

Do it like you do it to me
(Just open up)
Don't you know how much I want you

Do it like you do it to me
(I'm burning up)
Do it like you do it to me
(It's not enough)

Do it like you do it to me
(Just open up)
Don't you know how much I want you

We're sitting real close, I can feel your breath
I wanna touch your hand but I lay back, yeah, yeah, yeah
We're sitting real close, I can feel your breath
I wanna touch your hand, I cannot fight it off

D-d-do it, do it
Do it like you do it to me
(I'm burning up)
Do it like you do it to me
(It's not enough)

Do it like you do it to me
(Just open up)
Don't you know how much I want you

Do it like you do it to me
(I'm burning up)
Do it like you do it to me
(It's not enough)

Do it like you do it to me
(Just open up)
Don't you know how much I want you

Yeah, yeah, yeah

Beneath your Beautiful

He is a English singer-songwriter and record producer.  He's first solo was Let the Sun Shine which was released in September 2010 reaching number three on the charts almost immediately. His album Electronic Earth was released March 31, 2012. The song Beneath Your Beautiful, was his first achieved number one single in November 2012.

Beneath Your Beautiful

You tell all the boys "No"
Makes you feel good, yeah.
I know you're out of my league
But that won't scare me away, oh, no

You've carried on so long,
You couldn't stop if you tried it.
You've built your wall so high
That no one could climb it,
But I'm gonna try.

Would you let me see beneath your beautiful?
Would you let me see beneath your perfect?
Take it off now, girl, take it off now, girl
I wanna see inside
Would you let me see beneath your beautiful tonight?

You let all the girls go
Makes you feel good, don't it?
Behind your Broadway show
I heard a boy say, "Please, don't hurt me"

You've carried on so long
You couldn't stop if you tried it.
You've built your wall so high
That no one could climb it.
But I'm gonna try

Would you let me see beneath your beautiful?
Would you let me see beneath your perfect?
Take it off now, boy, take it off now, boy
I wanna see inside
Would you let me see beneath your beautiful tonight, oh, tonight?

See beneath, see beneath,
I...
Tonight
I...

I'm gonna climb on top your ivory tower
I'll hold your hand and then we'll jump right out
We'll be falling, falling but that's OK
'Cause I'll be right here
I just wanna know

Would you let me see beneath your beautiful?
Would you let me see beneath your perfect?
Take it off now, girl, take it off now, girl (take it off now, boy, take it off now, boy)
'Cause I wanna see inside
Would you let me see beneath your beautiful tonight, oh, oh, oh, tonight?
See beneath your beautiful, oh, tonight.
We ain't perfect, we ain't perfect, no.
Would you let me see beneath your beautiful tonight?
